Diagnosed in March 2007, Erick Gordon has since faced many challenges and suffered thousands of seizures. Unresponsive to medications and ineligible for surgery, Erick elected to participate in a clinical trial called Neuropace. Fortunately, the trial helped to drastically reduced the number and type of his seizures. In 2012, his doctors determined Erick was eligible for surgery and a temporal lobectomy was performed on May 15. Even though he continues to have seizures, Erick continues to work with his medical team to ultimately gain complete control of all seizures. He also stays busy helping to plan and organize S.A.F.E. events and enjoys listening to music (he's a huge 80's fan!), watching movies and supporting Georgia Bulldogs during football season!
